To celebrate the Nurturing Mums Store launch, I was gifted some beautiful balloons by Bam Bam balloons. I don’t like to promote products or services that I don’t believe in, but after speaking to Natasha and realising she was a local Crouch End mum, we hear how she went about setting up her balloon business! They are currently taking orders through Instagram & it’s great to support a local, home-grown biz.
My name is Natasha, born and raised in north London, I have been a dental nurse since 2006 and have always enjoyed it I find dentistry interesting and rewarding I continued studying over to years to gain extra qualifications which allowed me to do a lot more working with patients, late December 2015 my second baby was born it was then I felt I needed to be do something which would allow more flexibility and quality time with my children. I still very much enjoy dentistry and it wasn’t an easy decision to leave my position at work, but I did I feel it was the right thing to do both for myself and my family. I wasn’t sure what I would do next as I had never worked in another field, but I knew it had to be something I enjoyed and found rewarding. I have always been a believer that u should enjoy what you do.
The day I knew I wanted to become a balloon artist was when I was out shopping one day. I brought my daughter a balloon from a balloon stall in the local shopping mall, this is where I found my inspiration, I knew this was what I wanted to do, and in the next few weeks I got researching how I could I could start my own balloon company and shortly after Bam Bam Balloons was born, it suited me perfectly it was something creative rewarding and now working for myself I could be a bit more flexible and have more time with my girls. Since starting Bam Bam Balloons I have had no regrets. It is challenging at times but definitely exciting every project is slightly different, it’s so lovely to see how balloons make such a difference to a venue.
