Running a business that operates out of 10 locations is a big task. We have mums to reach out to, experts to find, venues to source, collaborations to work on and social media accounts to run on a day-to-day basis. We are a 3 woman band of mothers who all love supporting women, working flexibly and having a good time whilst we do it (if fuelled with caffeine)… Meet the team!
instagram story fiend – lover of wine – lawyer by trade
I started running Nurturing Mums when my son was 5 months old. I believed women needed more support postnatally that was practical, non-judgemental and helpful. Mum friends are also ESSENTIAL on getting through those tough times. I’m a lawyer by trade and mum of two and need as much support if not more this time round (as everyone thinks you know what you are doing – but you forget)! I’m passionate about championing women, working flexibly and having a good time whilst we do it – I’m able to do that thanks to my wonderful team of mamas below.

Meet our wonderful course facilitator, marketing whizz and moral support giver Kirsty
Hi, I’m Kirsty and this is me with my 2 year old son Finlay. I’m a trained massage
therapist and baby massage instructor. After a bit of a rough start to motherhood with Finlay (reflux, allergies and a thyroid problem) I started running baby massage classes to help mums adjust to their new role and support the bonding process with their babis. I love working with mums and babies and that’s why I also love working with Nurturing Mums, offering a non-judgemental and supportive place to share those new Mum highs and lows. A few (not so) interesting facts about me…I have done a skydive (despite being afraid of heights), I’m distantly relates to the racing driver Stirling Moss, I have 2 cats, oh and I’m expecting baby no.2 at the end of January. I will be signing up for a Nurturing Mums course ASAP as I think I’ve forgotten everything from first time round already! Wish me luck 😬

Query about the course or wondering who beautifully packs the Nurturing Mums Store orders… look no further…
Having spent many years working both as a Dresser and a Wardrobe Mistress in professional theatre, I felt I needed a new challenge, and decided to move into floristry. After studying it at college, I ended up managing a well known florist’s shop in central London. I gave up work when I had my two boys, and when I decided to return, needed something that was both flexible, and that I felt was worthwhile. Working for Nurturing Mums satisfied me on both these counts. Knowing that I am employed by an organisation which empowers new mothers by giving them useful information and tools to make their experience of motherhood a more positive and informed one.
