What do you love about your job?
Working with mums, kids and babies – imparting my knowledge to help improve an individual’s health.
What is the most commonly asked weaning question?
Why do the NHS advise weaning at 6 months and not before?
What is your top tip for a new mum?
Don’t be afraid to ask friends and family for help. Even if it’s just so you can have a shower!
What do you like to get up to in your spare time?
Taking my kids to see the dinosaurs at Crystal Palace Park.
What’s the best thing about being a mum?
Seeing your kids grow and change every day becoming their own little people with their own little personalities.
What are you looking forward to most about working with Nurturing Mums?
I’ve often thought that antenatal groups focus a lot on the birth and that there should be more postnatal courses out there to help mums with advice and guidance for when the baby arrives so I’m very excited about working with Nurturing Mums and advising new mums on everything weaning related.
